Attorney at Law · Coral Gables, Florida
Gordon C. Watt has practiced law in South Florida for more than three decades. After earning his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 1988, he was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989 and the Louisiana Bar in 1990. He established his law office in Coral Gables in 1996, where he has served individuals and businesses throughout Miami-Dade County and South Florida ever since.
His practice encompasses four primary areas: real estate law, business law, estate planning and probate, and civil litigation. Whether representing a first-time homebuyer at a residential closing, advising an entrepreneur on business formation, preparing a comprehensive estate plan, or litigating a complex civil dispute, Gordon brings the same level of thoroughness and attention to detail to every matter.
Gordon is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. This broad range of court admissions allows him to represent clients at every level of the judicial system, from county court proceedings to federal appeals.
Based in Coral Gables — one of South Florida's most established communities — Gordon understands the local legal landscape. His decades of experience in the region give him familiarity with local courts, procedures, and the specific legal needs of South Florida residents and business owners.
Gordon's approach to the practice of law is straightforward: listen carefully, provide honest counsel, and work diligently toward the best possible outcome. He believes that effective legal representation begins with understanding each client's unique situation and goals.
